Gregory Banks earned his Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from New York University. A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Connecticut, Gregory has used his many certifications as well as his passion to create an inviting, diverse practice. Certified in Critical Incident Stress Management (C.I.S.M.) and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (C.I.S.D), Gregory’s experience also includes extensive work with GLBTQ youth. He has educated faculty and staff in academic settings on GLBTQ issues.

Gregory has worked with adults and children with a wide range of mental health issues in individual, couples, family, and group settings. Specializing in assisting clients who are recovering from traumatic experiences, Gregory offers patients the option of having a therapy dog involved with their counseling. For those who are interested in dog therapy, Pumba does an excellent job of assisting Gregory!
